Job DescriptionDanfoss Van Wert is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our growing team.
This position will lead quality projects engaging intercompany sites, plant operations, and suppliers leveraging problem-solving techniques to improve and sustain plant quality performance metrics.
As the key driver of quality improvements within our site, you will directly impact customers and supply base as an integral part of our business in the drive for zero defects quality performance.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead/support process assessments and other performance improvement activities within our siteLead weekly reviews on quality performance metrics identifying and driving improvements with the use of data analytics and problem-solving tools.
Lead monthly quality performance and project status reviews of quality projectsSupport/lead deployment of IATF QMS requirements within our site participating in our Internal Audit processLead/support validation of the implementation of corrective / improvement actions across our value stream (supplier, plant, intercompany operations) when needed, to assess the effectiveness of improvements.
Support deployment of risk mitigation activities across our value stream, to proactively identify and address potential quality risks.
Monitor operational metrics, and customer/supplier performance promptly to proactively address potential issues.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree at an accredited institutionMinimum three (3) years of combined experience in a Quality role in operations Preferred
Qualifications:
