Tasks and Responsibilities of a Sandwich Artist:
Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their ordersDemonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them accurately to guestsUse the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute billsPerform the Cash-In Procedure, accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc.
, during the shiftPrepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely mannerCheck products in the sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shiftUnderstand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standardsClean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean imageAdhere to all quality standards, formulas, and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations ManualMaintain a professional appearance and grooming standardsComplete light paperwork duties as assignedParticipate in University of SUBWAY courses as directedSandwich Artist Requirements:
