The Van Wert, OH Fiber plant is a part of the Consumer Products Division of a global leader in Consumer Products & Healthcare solutions.
The HR Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting the employee lifecycle from recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training, through life events and career transitions.
This involves the responsibility of directing and administering some or all of the following functions; Recruiting, onboarding, growth & development, workforce planning, legal & policy compliance, capturing/using data to drive positive change, strategic business partnership, etc.
The Van Wert Fiber location will be a manufacturer of molded pulp consumer products such as egg cartons, fruit trays, wine carriers, food service, etc.

years hands-on experience in an HR Manager leadership role.
Mfg experience strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree or higher (or equivalent level of work experience).
PHR a bonus.
Enthusiasm for Continuous Improvement & positive workplace culture! Plant/business start-up experience (a HUGE plus!).
Ability to travel to WA periodically as this role learns about the Molded Fiber business.
Familiar with Ohio employment law & work comp management Knowledge of and experience with grants and tax credits (e.
g.
WOTC) Ability to develop relationships with local vendors & community resources.
